The AI Productivity King

The AI Productivity King

Ayaan ko pehli baar laga ki maybe woh sirf smart nahi lag raha, balki generated lag raha hai.

Par tab bhi usne socha: assignment me authenticity se marks thodi aate hain?

Usne apne aap ko convince kar liya.

The Proposal Prompt

Phir aaya wo stupidly dangerous idea.

Ayaan aur Sana ke beech vibe thi. Sabko dikhti thi. Kabir ko toh pehle hi dikh gayi thi. Naina ko bhi.

Naina, jo classmate thi aur campus placement prep mentor bhi, seedhi baat karne wali insaan thi. Usse log thoda avoid karte the, kyunki woh compliments ko sugarcoat nahi karti thi. Truth bolti thi. Full speed.

Ek din canteen me usne Ayaan ko dekh kar bola, “Tumhara aura thoda too curated hai.”

Ayaan ne almost choke kar diya. “Excuse me?”

Naina ne coffee stir karte hue kaha, “Tumhara har response refined, every joke timed, every story polished. It’s impressive. But also suspicious.”

Kabir ne side se whisper kiya, “Bro, she sees through the matrix.”

Ayaan ne ignore kiya. Lekin us line ka effect tha.

Sana ko impress karne ke liye Ayaan ne pehle chhote steps liye—cute messages, smart banter, thoughtful memes. Phir usne socha, agar feelings genuine hain, toh unko express karne ka bhi best way nikalna chahiye.

Aur best way, of course, prompt se.

Woh terrace pe baitha tha. Kabir side me tha, full support mode me.

“Bro, proposal mat bol, confession bol,” Kabir advised. “Tone soft rakhna. Emotional but not needy.”

Ayaan ne laptop khola.

“Write a romantic proposal message for a girl I like. Make it heartfelt, elegant, and memorable. Not too cheesy.”

Kabir ne screen dekh ke salute kiya. “Absolute cinema.”

Draft aaya.

Lines beautiful thi. Poetic thi. Mature thi. It said things like:

“You make ordinary conversations feel like the best part of my day.”

“I don’t know if this is the right moment, but I know it’s the honest one.”

“I’d rather be awkward and real with you than perfect and distant.”

Ayaan ne padh ke slowly exhale kiya. “Damn. This is actually good.”

Kabir nodded. “AI never misses.”

Naina, jo unke paas se guzar rahi thi, ruk kar boli, “AI misses. Tum log bas admit nahi karte.”

Ayaan ne usse bhi ignore kiya.

Usne Sana ko milne ke liye campus ke quiet corner ka choose kiya—library ke peeche wala small garden, jahan shaam ko light soft hoti thi aur log kam aate the.

Sana aayi. White shirt, black tote bag, slightly amused expression.

“Tumne bulaya?”

Ayaan ne pocket me phone tightly pakda hua tha. Us phone me woh perfect speech saved thi.

“Yeah,” he said, trying to sound casual.

Sana ne eyebrow raise kiya. “This usually means either assignment help or emotional damage.”

Ayaan nervously laughed. “Maybe… second one.”

Usne deep breath li. Phone unlock kiya. Screen pe woh beautifully crafted lines chamak rahi thi. Ayaan ne shuru kiya.

“Sana, I just wanted to say that you—”

Aur phir uski tongue thodi atak gayi.

Woh prompt yaad aaya, sentence ka rhythm yaad aaya, lekin achanak sab hollow lagne laga. Jaise kisi aur ki language ho. Jaise woh apni feelings ko bhi borrowed grammar me bol raha ho.

Sana silently usse dekh rahi thi.

Ayaan ne phir se try kiya, is baar prompt ka ek aur line.

“You make ordinary conversations feel like the best part of my day.”

Sana ka face unchanged tha. Bas aankhon me ek tiny shift aayi.

Ayaan continued, “I don’t know if this is the right moment, but I know it’s the honest one.”

Sana ne ek sec ke liye uske phone ki screen dekhi. Phir uske face pe ek faint, almost sad smile aayi.

Ayaan ne last line bolne ki koshish ki, but words uske gale me phans gaye.

Tab Sana ne softly kaha:

“Nice prompt.”

Human Version

Us ek line ne Ayaan ko freeze kar diya.

Garden ke side me hawa chal rahi thi. Kahi door cricket ke bats ka sound aa raha tha. Ek bird branch se uda. Sab kuch normal tha, sirf Ayaan ke andar kuch collapse ho gaya tha.

“Nice… prompt?” Ayaan repeated, voice awkward.

Sana ne phone ki taraf nahi dekha. Bas usse dekha. “Haan. Nice prompt.”

Kabir, jo thoda distance pe khada tha, instantly silent ho gaya. Even Naina, jo us waqt wahan aayi thi aur scene dekh liya tha, bas arms cross karke khadi rahi.

Ayaan ka face warm ho gaya. “Tumhe kaise—”

Sana ne gently interrupt kiya, “Tumhare messages, assignments, even those random apologies… sabme ek hi sound hai. Smooth, smart, but not messy enough to be yours.”

Ayaan ne hansi try ki, but nikli nahi. “Wow. That sounds bad.”

“It is bad,” Sana said. “Not because you used AI. Because you used it to hide.”

That sentence seedha laga.

Ayaan ne phone ko niche dekha. Screen pe ab bhi woh perfect lines thi. Unhe dekh kar pehli baar usko embarrassment feel hua.

Kabir ne awkwardly throat clear kiya. “Bro—”

Ayaan ne haath uthake usko chup karaya. “Nahi. Rehne de.”

Woh Sana ki taraf muda. Uski awaaz ab lower thi. Less polished. More him.

“Main… honestly bolu?” he said.

Sana ne bas nod kiya.

Ayaan ne gehri saans li. “Mujhe lagta tha ki agar main har cheez best way me bolu, toh log mujhe smart samjhenge. Assignment, chats, apology, sab kuch. Mujhe laga perfect sounding is same as being good.”

He laughed once, awkwardly. “Turns out, I was just outsourcing my personality.”

Kabir ne ek chhota sa “ouch” expression diya. Naina ka face jaise bola ho: finally.

Ayaan continued, “Main tujhe impress karna chahta tha, Sana. But I kept trying to sound like someone I’m not. And that’s… stupid. I know.”

Sana ne kuch seconds kuch nahi bola. Ayaan ko laga ab toh game over.

Phir woh boli, “Haan. Stupid tha.”
