Sticker War

Monday morning ka Gurgaon alag hi mood mein hota hai. Office ke glass walls par sunlight bhi thodi judgemental lagti hai, aur AC ki hawa mein bhi “kaam karo, bakwaas mat karo” wala attitude hota hai. Aarav Mehra apni desk par बैठा coffee ka first sip le hi raha tha ki office WhatsApp group—Team Phoenix—mein ek classic boring message aaya: “Good morning team 😊 Have a productive week ahead.”

Uske saath ek flower wala sticker.

Do second ke liye kuch nahi hua. Phir Bunty Rana ne reply kiya: ek sticker of a sleepy panda, with caption, “Productive week? Monday ko yeh optimism kisne diya bhai?”

Aarav ne screen par dekha, phir apni coffee. “Shuru ho gaya,” usne under-breath bola.

Bunty, jo back-office operations mein tha aur Ghaziabad side se aata tha, stickers ka king tha. Uska phone kholte hi aisa lagta tha jaise uske paas har emotion ka sticker version ready hai. Aarav ko laga, “Ab phas gaya.” Ritu ne kuch reply nahi kiya. Bas seen.

Neha ne lunch ke baad ek presentation share kiya tha. Client call ke liye important deck tha, aur usmein last-minute changes aa rahe the. Aarav ko yaad tha ki Neha already tense thi.
