EXT. TEA STALL - NIGHT
A tin-shed tea stall glows under a wet, rainy streetlight. SAMAR (30), a food delivery partner, stands beside his parked scooter, helmet in hand, delivery bag on the seat. He never leaves this spot.
His phone BUZZES.
SAMAR
Arre wah, raat ka order aur saath mein emotional baggage. Kya combo hai.
He checks the app.
INSERT - PHONE SCREEN: CUSTOMER NAME: AMAN. ORDER: Paneer Roll, Cold Coffee, Extra Peri-Peri Sauce.
SAMAR
Aman. Naam bhi hero wala. Ab dekhte hain scene kya hai.
A notification pops up.
INSERT - CHAT POPUP: “Bhai, jaldi aa jao. Life changing moment hai.”
SAMAR
Life changing moment? Bhai, meri life toh har delivery pe change hoti hai. Kabhi rating, kabhi battery.
Another popup.
INSERT - CHAT POPUP: “Please bina noise ke aana.”
SAMAR
Main? Noise? Main toh khud low battery pe silent mode mein jeeta hoon.
He glances up at the 4TH FLOOR BALCONY of a dimly lit building across the lane.
SAMAR
Oho. 4th floor. Neeche se full romantic geography.
A VOICE NOTE arrives.
SAMAR taps play.
AMAN (V.O.)
Bhai, ek minute. Agar main atak gaya toh tu bas order rakh ke rehna. Kuch bolna mat.
SAMAR
Arre bhai, main delivery partner hoon, Cupid ka unpaid intern nahi.

SAMAR

He looks up again. A silhouette shifts behind the balcony light.
SAMAR

SAMAR

SAMAR
Samajh gaya. Main aaj tea-stall ka human buffer hoon.
A typing bubble appears.
SAMAR
Oh ho. Customer typing. Ab toh last over chal raha hai.

SAMAR
Arre wah. Delivery se zyada delivery of emotions ho rahi hai.
He leans on the scooter, still watching the balcony.
SAMAR
Aman, ab bas bol. Aaj background music bhi rain de rahi hai.

AMAN (V.O.)
Bhai, main bas bol raha hoon… mujhe tumse bahut pehle bol dena chahiye tha.
SAMAR
Haan bhai, bol. Ab toh climax ka button dab gaya.
A chat popup appears.

SAMAR
Oho! Box open karo? Bhai, ye toh full finale hai.
He straightens up, watching the lit balcony intently.
SAMAR

A pause. Rain ticks on the tin shed.

SAMAR
Bas. Ho gaya. Mission successful. Mere paneer roll ne kaam kar diya.

SAMAR
Of course she does. Cold coffee is the gateway drug to soft feelings.
A final notification arrives.

SAMAR looks up at the balcony, soft smile on his face.
SAMAR
Main yahin tha, bhai. Scooter bhi yahin, shed bhi yahin. Kabhi kabhi life mein bas ek delivery partner ka patience kaam aata hai.
He picks up the delivery bag, slings it over his shoulder, and pats the scooter seat.
SAMAR
Chal Samar. Aaj tip nahi mili toh kya, ek love story free mein mil gayi.
He stands under the shed, rain falling around him, as the balcony light glows warmly above.
