INT. OFFICE ELEVATOR - DAY
A small office elevator is stuck between floors. Harsh white fluorescent panels buzz overhead. The digital floor indicator flickers. A mirrored wall reflects two increasingly panicked men.
ROHAN (26), nervous, wrinkled blazer, sneakers, backpack, clutching a pitch deck folder and phone.
SAMEER (38), stern building manager, formal shirt, ID lanyard, key ring clipped to his belt.
ROHAN
(pressing the emergency button)
Hello? Hello? Koi hai?
SAMEER
Dryly
Emergency button press karne se emergency khatam nahi hoti.
ROHAN
Main bas check kar raha tha.
SAMEER
Haan. Aur main bas building manager hoon.

ROHAN

SAMEER

ROHAN

A sudden JOLT. The elevator gives a mechanical chime.

The doors begin to open.
ROHAN and SAMEER stare at each other.

ROHAN
